February Newsletter: entering the Dragon year.

newsletter Jan 25, 2024

Hello there!

As we head towards the Lunar New Year, we wish you a prosperous and joyful year of the Wood Dragon!

While Japan traditionally celebrates the new year on the first of January, I've been lucky enough to be welcomed into Lunar New Year celebrations for the last 15 years or so. Reflecting on this makes me deeply appreciate the ease in which we can engage in multi-faceted and multi-cultural identities as Asian Australians or Asian diaspora.

One platform that has really amplified the Asian Australian experience is none other than the podcast, Level: Asian. And last year, I was lucky enough to chat with the team for this hour long interview about identity, belonging and Asian Australian mental health.

If you'd like to listen to the episode, please follow this link or search for Level: Asian (episode 62) wherever you access your podcasts!

And lastly, if you'd like to bring these conversations to life amongst other Asian Australians, be sure to check out our free Community Check In below🐉
