Thank you for your interest in our Essential Guide to Asian Australian Mental Health!
How did we create this Guide?
In 2021, we surveyed over 350 people of various Asian identities and asked them about their mental health and wellbeing.
Through this, we found that there were three key themes that people continually pointed to, as factors that impacted their mental health.
These themes were:
- Stoicism
- Internalised Racism
- Intergenerational Trauma
Our Guide outlines these themes in greater detail, and offers you ideas about how you may like to navigate these in your life.
How Shapes and Sounds can help you:
